OMG that really would be something to shout about, well you can breathe a sigh of relief for the time being, it’s not going to happen. However, it does seem very likely that VAT will increase from 17.5% to 20% before much longer. So I suppose that does mean spa and pampering sessions will be taxed more along with most other pleasures.
But, you can draw a little comfort from knowing that every bit of pampering you feel compelled to put yourself through, will be helping us all out of the recession. So, well done you!
